Behavioural Analysis for Couples.
Adopting new ways of communicating, and implementing the solutions you have agreed upon as a couple often require you to behave in ways which are different to the way you would habitually communicate or behave.
In behavioural analysis, we work to identify the factors which might be reinforcing old habits, or making it difficult to implement new ones.We develop strategies that make sense in the context of how the human brain functions, to help you adopt new communication habits, or implement new behavioural routines.
Behavioural analysis and modification is something I often incorporate into client strategies.

Behavioural Analysis
Sometimes you've made an agreement to change a particular behaviour together, but find yourselves stuck in the same cycles the very next week. You genuinely want to communicate differently, but you keep returning to the same reflexive responses.
Implementing new behaviours which challenge existing habits can be difficult. This is because novel ways of behaving require more mental energy than habitual behaviours.
Behavioural analysis is used to identify any behavioural routines which may be getting in the way of your goals. This isn't about judging each other or ourselves, it's about identifying the factors reinforcing these habitual behaviours, and developing strategies to make it easier for your brain to adopt new habits.
